Specs:
Douglas Fir top, highly figured Maple back/sides/neck in an antique reddish sunburst hand rubbed varnish finish with single ply bindings throughout. Flat Rosewood fretboard and Rosewood adjustable bridge. Nickel hardware includes Gotoh tuning gears and an engraved traditional tailpiece. Nugget tailpiece.
Big, wide open, dynamic sound, deep, woody tone. Responsive and powerful mandolin. Monster chop. Big sustain and nicely balanced.
Excellent overall condition, however, just had the top repaired by Skip. This mandolin was damaged by UPS enroute to our shop. The top had a lengthy crack on arrival. Skip did a fine repair, glue and cleats and it’s good to go. Additionally, Skip planed the fretboard, removing a slight hump. He’s got it set up perfectly. Other than the repairs, she’s in outstanding condition with very little playwear. This is a one owner mandolin and the gentleman took very good care of her.
Includes a standard hard shell case with vintage green interior. Trades gladly considered on this fine American made instrument.
