Early David Harvey signed Gibson that is in splendid condition. This fine example features top shelf woods, a stunning Mother-of-Pearl Fern inlay and exceptional sound.
Sitka Spruce top, highly figured Maple back/sides/neck in a golden blonde gloss lacquer finish. 2-Ply bindings throughout, flat Ebony fretboard, Ebony adjustable bridge, parallel tone bars, 1-1/8″ nut width, Rosewood headstock veneer with Fern inlay and Gibson Grover tuning machines with pearl buttons.
Exceptionally strong mandolin that features a robust sound, warm and quite wood with excellent depth and clarity and a lot of pop. Solid bluegrass chop. Nice set up too, plays easy.
Near mint condition. Has a few ultra light pick marks below the fretboard and light string marks and clip on tuner blemishes. Otherwise, like new. Remarkable.
Includes rectangular TKL case, likely original. Trades gladly considered on this fine American made instrument.
