Price: $3999.95 **SOLD**
Adirondack Spruce top, highly figured Maple back/sides/neck in a blonde/natural gloss lacquer finish w/ 3-ply tortoise bindings throughout, radius Ebony fretboard, 1-1/8″ nut width, parallel tone bar bracing, abbreviated tortoise pickguard, Collings vine headstock inlay and nickel hardware includes Gotoh tuning machines with Ebony buttons, and Collings tailpiece.
Remarkable sound with plus volume and a strong chop. Collings mandolins are typically a tad more modern sounding to my ear, but this example seems to lean a little more toward tradition. Nice and dry and punchy. Set up very well, plays easy.
Near mint condition. Pick marks on the pickguard, minor string scratch on the headstock and minor fretwear . Otherwise mint. Very clean.
Offered with standard case. Trades gladly considered on this fine American made instrument.
