Adirondack Spruce top, highly figured Maple one piece back, Maple sides and neck in a cremona sunburst varnished finish, 3-ply bindings throughout, radius Ebony fretboard, 1-1/8″ bone nut, abbreviated Ebony pick guard, parallel tone bars, and an exquisite Mother-of-Pearl headstock inlay. Gold hardware includes engraved James tailpiece and Waverly tuning gears with pearl buttons.
Heavenly sound. Warm, rich and dynamic sounding mandolin. Complex overtones and exceptional sustain and balance. Bold bluegrass chop and big volume. Very refined sounding instrument.
Showroom clean. Has just a tiny hint of an armrest footprint. Very small and you really have to look hard to find it. Otherwise she’s as clean as she is elegant. Like new. Perfect setup.
Includes a Calton, teal/forest green case, also like new. Trades gladly considered on this fine American made mandolin.
