I think this is a 2023, based on the s/n,2301640, but I could be wrong. Very cool, factory distressed model that comes with much character. Resembles a vintage Gibson F-4. Varnished finish. Excellent voice.
Solid Adirondack Spruce top, Maple back/sides/neck in a distressed, black gloss varnish finish with 3-ply bindings throughout. Raidus Ebony fretboard, 1-1/8″ nut width, well rounded V-shape neck, Gotoh tuning gears, Allen style tailpiece and elegant Mother-of-Pearl headstock inlay.
Excellent sounding mandolin. If you’re looking to add a good oval hole to your herd without breaking the bank, this fine example should fill the bill. Woody, throaty and nicely balanced with good volume.
Cosmetic condition is, well, distressed. I can’t see that any noticeable wear has been added since it left the factory. Not even any fretwear. Pro-set up.
Includes the original Eastman case. Hard with black cloth cover.
