Adirondack Spruce top, figured Red Maple back/sides/neck in a 1930’s burst gloss lacquer finish. 3-Ply bound top and back, radius Ebony fretboard with medium sized fret wire, Ebony adjustable bridge, parallel tone bars, 1-1/16″ nut width, Flowerpot headstock inlay and Gibson Grover tuning machines.
Articulate voice, slightly brighter than your standard F5G, likely due to the tight grained Red Spruce sound board. Low end has yet to open up as is usually the case with new Red Spruce. Excellent volume and a strong chop. Sounds fantastic right out of the box. Beast potential.
New condition without flaw or blemish.
Includes original TKL case with leather Gibson pull tag inside. Trades gladly considered on this fine American made instrument.
