Late `24 Gibson snakehead oval hole a-style. Tailpiece is a replacement as are the Gotoh tuning gears, although original Waverly’s are included in the sale. Also included, a replacement pick guard, not installed. Bone nut is a recent replacement.
Specs:
Black face Adirondack Spruce top, Birch back and sides, Mahogany neck. Single bound body, flat Ebony fretboard and adjustable Ebony bridge (replacement).
Excellent vintage condition. Top shows wear, of course. Significant pick wear below fretboard and top and headstock have their share of scratches and other blemishes, but considering it’s age, it’s actually in fine shape. This instrument spent some time at Gibson Restoration and Repair in late 2018. See attached photo for inventory of work accomplished by Gibson.
Includes the original case, which is in extra fine vintage condition.
