Exceptional A!!!
Price: $999.95 **SOLD**
Terrific little A-5 mandolin. Small price, big bark. Well played offering featuring good appointments, appointments, excellent materials and a fantastic voice.
Specs:
Solid Select Spruce top, Maple back/sides/neck in a cremona burst gloss lacquer finish with 3-ply bindings throughout. Flat Ebony fretboard, 1-3/32″ nut width, parallel tone bars, Gotoh tuning gears, traditional engraved tailpiece and Fleur-de-Lis headstock inlay. Speed neck and aftermarket arm rest gadget.
Outstanding sound featuring a dry, crisp and woody tone with significant sustain and volume. Powerful and responsive. Strong chop. Pro set-up.
Good condition. Top has a good deal of finish swirls, dings and pings. Finish is kind of worn away on the bass side of the fretboard, which is odd. Makes me wonder if it was owned by a lefty at some point and played upside down. Hendrix style. Sides and headstock have some scratches. Has some fretwear , but on the light side.
Includes a basic hard shell case. The inside on the headstock end looks like it may have been attached by an angry gerbil.
