Amazing sound. Classic Loar like tone, woody, rich and warm. Powerful mid-range, particularly the D string. The soundboard is very tight grained Adirondack, but this mandolin has mot been sitting around for the last 13 years. She’s been busy and the soundboard has opened up quite nicely. Excellent bluegrass chop.
Excellent-minus to excellent cosmetic condition. Top has multiple small scratches. Just playwear and pick marks. Headstock shows string scratches and marks from clip-on and such. Nothing significant. Re-fretted with EVO and set up by Danny Roberts.
Includes a Hoffee shell case. Trades gladly considered.
