Engelmann Spruce top, highly figured Maple one piece back, Maple sides and neck in a tobacco burst spirit varnish finish. 3-Ply binding throughout. Radius Ebony fretboard, 1-1/8″ nut width, abbreviated Ebony pickguard, Gotoh tuning machines with black buttons, engraved Gilchrist tailpiece and an exquisite headstock inlay.
Big, powerful sound. Rich and balanced. Woody and warm with plenty of depth, crisp mids and crystal clear highs. Strong chop. She’s a Hoss!
Excellent-plus to near mint condition showing only minor playwear, light swirl marks and a couple pick marks. Back of the headstock has a couple tiny dings on the top edge. No fretwear. Very clean mandolin
