You know, Andrew Mowry builds incredible instruments. Not too many small builders have it down like this fella. Difficult to find fault with his work. Impeccable fit and finish. Outstanding appointments and top shelf woods. Most importantly, they sound terrific. This example is a Demo piece.
Specs: Adirondack Spruce top, intensely flamed Maple back/sides/neck in a tobacco burst, varnished finish with 3-ply bindings throughout. Radius ebony fretboard, 1-1/8″ nut width, tone bar bracing, engraved James tailpiece, Rubner tuning machines and Vine headstock inlay.
Dynamite sound. Responsive and dynamic voice, warm and woody and a tad on the dry side. Nicely balanced. Excellent volume and a strong chop.
Like new condition, without flaw or blemish.
Includes Superior hard shell case with Mowry tag. Trades gladly considered on the fine, American made instrument.
