Extraordinary oval hole mandolin, s/n 44. Modern masterpiece with the look, sound and feel of a 1920’s Gibson Loar F4. Skip kept this mandolin for eight years before selling it last Spring. The current owner is selling this and a Kelley A-5 due to recurring tendonitis issues.
Specs:

Flat Ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays transverse bracing. 1-1/8″ nut width. Also features flowerpot headstock inlay, engraved James tailpiece and vintage style Golden Age tuning gears.
A terrific sounding mandolin. Mutt’s favorite F4 of all time. Here’s a sample of Skip playing this instrument several years back.
Excellent plus overall condition. Top shows some playwear below the strings, minor pinky wear and a tiny ding or three on the top. No fretwear worth mentioning. Fantastic setup.
Includes a Gator case, Travelite style. Trades gladly considered on this fine American made instrument.
